my mother has dementia and is 91 years old. She keeps crying out I'm scared someone help me. We soothe are and tell her that she is safe but does it for hours on end.

There are several organizations to contact. Google it for your state. I was amazed at how caring these people are. They will listen to you and guide you. You shouldn't have to go thru this alone. I know how overwhelming it is. My dad is in adult care home (almost 2 months) and these are folks that take care of him 24 hrs a day.
