I bought the Cellmetics mascara after seeing an ad and honestly expected it to be another overhyped beauty product. I'm in my 60s, and one of my biggest frustrations is that most mascaras either clump, smudge, or make my lashes look spidery.

What surprised me most was how cleanly this one applies. It separates my lashes really well and gives them some length without looking overdone. My lashes are definitely thinner than they used to be, so I appreciate that it enhances them without making them look stiff or heavy.

I've also had issues with eye sensitivity over the years, but this one hasn't irritated my eyes at all. I can wear it all day and don't end up with smudges under my eyes by the afternoon, which has been a problem with a lot of other mascaras I've tried.

The only thing I'd mention is that it stays on very well, which is great during the day, but it does take a little more effort to remove at night. For me that's a fair trade-off because I'd rather have a mascara that lasts than one that flakes off after a few hours.

Overall, it's one of the few beauty products I've purchased recently that actually lived up to most of my expectations. I've already ordered a second tube, which is probably the best review I can give.
