How do I know which Catheter is right for me?

I have been having issues with holding my bladder and cannot stand the feeling of diapers and havent really talked to my doctor about it. I figured I would try a catheter to use when I am laying down in bed for 4 or 5 hrs.. How do I know which one will be the right one for me... Please help

It's tough to give medical advice on the internet.  I'm not a doctor.  I have used both indwelling catheters, and intermittent catheters.  You can do some research online as to how each type works.  I'm not sure if either one would be the best solution to your incontinence. All that being said I strongly urge you to see your doctor and discuss this with them.  You may wish to ask your doctor for a referral to a urologist, I think it would be well worth your time.  Please don't go sticking anything in to your bladder with out qualified medical advice it could be dangerous and make your current problems worse.

    Hi,

Here is a good article to address the question. I hope it is helpful. Always before doing anything, consult your Primary Physician or Urologist.
