I have been researching and working with cannabis for the last 4 years. CBD can be very beneficial for many symptoms because we already make a very similar molecule in our body. I use a topical cream for my back pain and a tincture to keep my hot flashes away.

Brenda Hogan There are many ways to get CBD into your body. The most effective and efficient way is with a sub lingual tincture. An oil that you put under your tongue. It is easy to dose and figure out how many milligrams is best for your body and condition.  A capsule is another option and you swallow it, so therefore you need a higher dose because the  digestive system filters out half the medicine. Gummy‘s also are fairly popular because of the sugar and gummy candy, but again you are relegated to a certain milligram of CBD and then you have to digest it to figure out the effect. Also topical cream‘s are an excellent way for pain in a particular area . You can contact me off-line for companies that offer safe and effective products. I definitely do not recommend Amazon, as none of those products have been third-party tested for contaminants, pesticides and heavy metals that are typically found in cheap CBD products.

  • I use gummies for managing my neuorpathy in hands and feet, I use 10mg dose when I anticipate major symptoms, before bed and after long walks.  Sometimes use low T/high C flower and that also helps for sleep interruptions.

Yes, there are many options for CBD gummies and tinctures on the internet. Please be aware that there is no oversight on CBD. There can be heavy metals in your gummy because hemp pulls out the heavy metals in soil. No one is testing for this. Definitely don't want gummies made with hemp from China. (Very common).

Tinctures are easier to dose with. Other contaminants to look for: pesticides, microbes, solvents. Remember, this medicine comes from a plant. It should be grown organically and the CBD should be extracted without solvents. There is no oversight in this market, as with nutraceuticals in general.

Ali Stoddard Thank you for researching and reaching out to folks on this forum, as well as, all others contributing your experiences with all seeking help. God Bless You Guys!

For those seeking knowledge: A cannabinoid is one of a class of diverse chemical compounds that acts on cannabinoid receptors in cells that alter neurotransmitter release in the brain.

I have a very rare cancer (Angio-Sarcoma) and I've been on a clinical trial immunology therapy (which is working) for the past 2.5yrs. All of my doctors from the specialty oncologist, oncology urologists in Santa Monica to my UC Davis primary doctor insists on cannabinoid usage. The issue is dosage & what kind is helpful? Ultimately it's up to the user to determine what's best, however all advice from all of you is so helpful in making a determination and saves so much time weeding through the vast array of products.

My experience with cannabis and cancer has been that if one has found the correct dose and strain of cannabis to fight the cancer, you will know within 3 to 4 weeks as you will see results fairly quickly, and see your numbers go down.

If trying to ameliorate something like anxiety or PTSD, the results can happen within hours to days. In other words, cannabidiol, or CBD is immediately quite effective in quelling the excitatory processes that contribute to that “fight or flight” state.  CBD is very grounding and balancing.

  • I’m a first hand believer!! Been using cbd 2 years and at 56 I feel better than I have in the ten years or more prior.  I can tell you that not all cbd is created equally .. there is a lot of crap out there. Don’t give up until u find what works for you❤️❤️

Yes CBD oil and creams work. What is the problem you are looking to help? I use a micro dose that works because it is a full-spectrum product. That's what you want to look for. Also make sure there is testing on the products - residual solvents, heavy metals and microbes all need to be tested for because this is a plant-based medicine and not a synthetic pharmaceutical.

Try here. A jar of CBD Cream costs as little as $12. A tincture or oil under the tongue is $60. Dosing: start at a low dose (1-2 drops) and add to that does until you find a benefit. www.GreenAlley.org

Yes, CBD works great for pets. BUT find a CBD that is not tainted with pesticides, solvents or added chemicals. Many on Amazon and the like are un tested or get the CBD from China which is usually tainted with heavy metals, as the plant absorbs metals from the soil. you can email me offline and I can help you find some good products.

Oil in their mouth is best way to dose for pets and we humans! Once the gummy/treat gets digested, you've lost 50% of the potency. Oil in mouth gets absorbed thru the gums and thin mucosal tissue and goes directly to the blood stream - no filtering by liver/kidney and therefore you absorb most of the medicine and get quicker pain relief or anxiety relief. This is also why you want the CBD to be very clean AND toxin free.

Yes, it works because we already produce a CBD-like molecule in our bodies. It is part of the Endocannabinoid System, which is a very pervasive and important system in our body. Most western medicine docs have not been trained in the ECS and refuse to learn it because it is attached to cannabis. CBD is the non psychotropic part of cannabis, AND CBD Hemp is now going to be designated as an agricultural product and wont be attached to medical marijuana CBD.(I know, clear as mud)

Currently, you can buy CBD hemp online, but be aware, most online products are not tested! Look for testing for pesticides/mold/solvents/heavy metals. Most companies only test for potency (how much CBD is in the medicine). CBD Hemp is a nutraceutical and is part of a very unregulated industry.

CBD Hemp Oil is best used as a sublingual, used on the gums and under the tongue. Just squirt the CBD on your dog's gums, then it will be absorbed quicker. Helps with anxiety and pain and lots of other issues.

Eduardo Rosario cbd in the form of oil works systemically and is a great anti spasmodic. That said, it’s doubtful that products you get on amazon would not be made well enough or without toxins. Whatever is causing the spasms, you certainly don’t want to add toxins to the mix. Insist on lab tests for heavy metals and pesticides. Start with a sublingual tincture and add a cream if needed for a two-pronged approach. I use CBD+ Cream from www.GreenAlley.org
