The D-Ostomy was designed and patented with its novel D-shape to allow close proximity to difficult anatomy. The straight edge allows our appliance to be placed near difficult anatomical features (incisions, umbilicus, scars, rolls, folds, second ostomy appliances, etc) without overlap! You simply place the barrier in any direction you need, and then select the corresponding bag to allow normal drainage. Open and closed pouches are available in all four directions.
