Help Spread the Word - Caregiver Research
Are you, or do you know a caregiver of someone with Alzheimer's or probable Alzheimer's? The National Institute of Aging has funded a nationwide, online study focused on caregiver well-being. Researchers at Northwestern University and University of California, San Francisco are conducting an evaluation on the intervention, titled Life Enhancing Activities for Family Caregivers (LEAF). It includes six positive emotion skill-building sessions and participants will be supplied with tablet computers to allow caregivers can take part from anywhere in the USA. Additionally, participants are invited to keep the tablet when they complete the study.
Who can participate?
- 18 or older
- Identify as the primary caregiver of someone with Alzheimer’s Disease or probable AD
- Have consistent access to a reliable Wi-Fi connection for weekly sessions
- Speaks and reads English
