Psychological effects of having to wear diapers.

Around 20 years ago I broke my back in a logging accident. As a result, my sciatic nerve in my left leg was nearly severed. After surgery, I had some issues with bladder control, but it went away after about 6 months. Within the last couple of years, it has come back and I'm now wearing pullups 24/7. I'm in top physical condition and am an avid weightlifter.  I've always been tough and able to overcome injuries fairly quickly.  My wife is 20 years younger than me and I am 55. She is supportive of this issue but I dont think she understands the psychological impact it has on me. I hope that someone can give me tips on how to cope with this. I appreciate it.

My urologist has requested I get an MRI done to see what is going on with my back as he thinks its nerve related.

  • pullups leak and sag and are hot and elastic.  They also cannot easily be removed and they don't roll up to seal in mess.  Basically they suck.  Don't use them.
