Diaper Fit and Confidence

The best way to find a good fit for a diaper is by making sure you have the right size. Usually most adult diapers go by waist size and weight. It is kind of critical to make sure they fit well around your legs too for fewer leaks. The better fitting diaper you can get the better confidence you will have.

Note I did have a chance to try the Small MegaMax from Northshore and found it a much better fit for a smaller waist. Being a 34" myself, it is much more snug where it needs to be and seems to prevent leaks better.

    • Scott Keyser I've worn these to work for whole day of pee but if I deficate I want to change.

They feel good walking when full.  The sides are crinkly and peopel have noticed.  My hearing isn't that good so I often crinkle.  But plastic diapers are all I've ever worn!

Andrew hola I crinkle, so what lol. Yeah, same thing. One person asked why it looked like I was wearing a diaper, and I started to tell her it wasnt like I had a choice but she got embarrassed/offended and walked away 🤦🤷

  • Every underwear I try leaks urine onto the leg openings.  It then goes on my clothing.  What am I doing wrong?  I have severe incontinence so I wear a pad with the underwear.

The pullon underwear has no legit way to stop the leaks actually and in these cases, it is generally recommended to use tab style briefs instead, allowing you to secure the legcuffs better and more snug to prevent leaks. Ones with standing leg guards inside the leg cuffs help too.

    • Lynne Murray I see that it's been a while since I reviewed the posts here.  Sorry to be so tardy in replying to your question.  In case you haven't seen my reply to Scott Keyser, Sam's Club Member's Mark Total Protection Adult Adjustable Briefs work best for me and cost only 47c apiece.

    • Andrew hola Lynne Murray I have often sat on a hard surface and leaked soil and urine.  I soil sitting and laying down.  THe whole seat is full.  loose stool is harder to deal with.

Bruce Barrett While we wait for a reply, can I ask, if you don't mind, what have you tried so far?

    • Scott Keyser Sorry to be so slow to answer your question.   I've tied most of the ABDL diapers because I figured they would have the capacity and fit to prevent leaks.

But the crinkly noise of the plastic-backed diapers prevents my discrete need since my friends are all "vanilla".   And I'm not into the AB kink. I'm just a DL because of frequent incontinence.

What works best for me is Sam's Club Member's Mark Total Protection Adjustable briefs.  In addition to fitting well, being cloth backed and therefore quiet, they hold 3 to 5 bladders-full.  And they cost 47c each.

    • Andrew hola   men generally wear plastc taped briefs.  for us who deficate we need plastic briefs.  even when I had bowel control, I was unabel to remove briefs in stall and just went in my diaper.  I cannot get hard either wich is easier when I'm changed.

  • I shave my diaper area every few days.  It's too hard to wipe me up with hairy bottom.

    • Andrew hola So what brand and model is your razor?

I can barely reach my butt to wipe it. Thus, I can't imagine safely shaving it. But I have the same problem with hair holding onto the dirt so I'm interested in the concept. TIA.

That bum bunchiness seen in the Chris Challe  photo 2 really effects me, too, no matter the brand I've tried. And after sitting on that bunchiness for a time, it feels like I am sitting on rocks. People manage to design anatomically perfect underpants, why not do it for diapers, too?
