  • Wendi Friesen offered a course of (Free to veterans) hypnosis online for PTSD. Many people have PTSD symptoms from other than a battlefield. I've talked with several other retired members of two armed forces branches. Not that guys will think of themselves as victims. But, if you ask whether they had nightmare/s which the dream/s placed them in some situation/s where they had some level of expertise above usual yet not had authority to do what the dream compelled of them, you are going to get some truth that symptoms exist without the diagnosis. That's all I have had--symptoms without diagnosis. I tried the Wendi.com online course and I think I got some benefit. She uses the phrase, "train your brain." Some of that stuck for me. Definitely people who use hypnosis learn relaxation. I think Qigong discipline in particular that is taught along side with Tai Chi helps to calm down in the midst of stressed out situations; especially to improve breathing whenever I find myself attempting to puff stress out between my lips. You'd probably get a sample lesson of Sinking The Qi right from the start, maybe before you learn much else.
